Lead to CRM Integration Options and Instructions

Once a lead is qualified as the right fit for your business the contact details and build preferences can be passed into your systems via any of the below methods. 

We recommend working with your internal technical team in choosing which method/s will work best for your business. 

  • Email Notification
  • Mail Parser / XML Email
  • Webhook 

WARNING: Webhook is the most reliable of the three lead handover options, as its has the benefit of flagging an error with the webhook. Whereas, sending the Email Notification and Mail Parser we have checks in place to ensure the email is sent, but have no visibility if it is received. If there is a change to your CRM that prevents the Mail Parser from working we have no way to be made aware. Similarly if inbox of email address provided for the Mail Parser stops being serviced with a change to personal there is no error message to alert us.

1. Email Notifications

Email notifications send to your team inbox. This transaction Lead Notification email can be sent to any number of suitable contacts.

2. Mail Parser / XML Email

Mail Parser / XML Email this is a plain text email with the leads profiling details provided as field and value specific to the lead.

Your team would provide us an email address that can be received and digested by your CRM to automatically map the leads details to the appropriate fields in your CRM and then trigger the existing logic and workflows support your sales team.

3. Webhook 

Webhooks are one of a few ways web applications can communicate with each other.

It allows you to send real-time data from one application to another whenever lead is delivered.

This exchange of data happens over the web through a “webhook URL.”

A webhook URL is provided by the receiving application, sent to the webhook URL in either JSON or XML format. This is known as the “payload.”
